Girls Place 3rd at 14 team Tri State Invite

The Sequoits scored 81 points to take third behind Oregon and Jainesville Parker at the Tri State Invitational.  Leading the way for the Sequoits was Noor Abdellatif and Ayanna Tommy.  Noor was the meet champion in the triple jump after only taking one jump of 32'4 1/2" and also took 2nd in the Pole Vault.  Ayanna was your meet High Jump Champion will a leap and new personal best of 5'3" which qualified her for the Indoor Top Times Meet.  Noor and Ayanna teamed up with Tiana Fox and Shelby Purcell to win the 4x200 meter relay.  Ayanna also placed 3rd in both the 55 Meter and 200 Meter run.  Shelby Purcell  placed 5th in the open 200.  Freshman standout Lyric Stay tied her personal best of 4'10 to take second in the High Jump.  Jill Everett threw her best this year of 33'.  The night was capped of with a huge PR by the 4x4 relay team (Noor Abdellatif, Tiana Fox, Amber Carson, Allison Kane) who dropped 7 seconds of their best time to grab 4th place.
