Runners Up @ Buffalo Grove

The boys track & field team placed 2nd at this weekends Joe Scarpino Invite hosted by Buffalo Grove.  This was the first time since 2013 that the Sequoits brought home a trophy.  Several athletes chipped in to help secure the runner up finish for Antioch.  Matt Becker once again finished 1st in the shot put (flight A) and threw over 50' for the second week in a row and brought home the "Big Boy" award for the top thrower in the meet.  Other event winners include Dino Kaliakmanis (55 dash, 55 HH), Charlie Smith (800m), TreShawn Watson (55 HH), Chris Penn (55HH, 55 IH), and Chase Becker (Shot Put - B).  The Sequoits are now preparing for the indoor NLCC Invite on Thursday, March 7th.
